From a Call Centre to CEO, Here is what Founder of Marketing Blox talks about the Journey of Millennium

We have great stories of startups which are making millions in revenue, but we ignore the power of blogging & entrepreneurship , which has equal potential to other businesses. Every business needs online presence, and many companies use blogs as a customer acquisition strategy. Many entrepreneurs earn income by running a blog as well.
I met an Indian blogger, Mayank ( Indian Born Ethical Hacker, Digital Marketer, Tech enthusiast & Entrepreneur ) from Delhi, India - who started his first blog as a hobby named Grabitnews.com, and now making huge bucks by doing e-commerce dropshipping business along with Digital Services as well. He transparently discloses his website’s earning but now helping, giving best services to everyone with his new firm named Marketingblox.com.
He used to write about Trending Tech news, later switched website to multiple domains and now ending on MarketingBlox. He added that this ain’t the last Project he’s working on but planning to revolutionize the Social News Industry by his upcoming Project in few Years, named Picafeed. Medium: How did you start your career as a blogger?
Mayank : While I was waiting to start work, I joined a call center in Noida. I have been passionate about computing and technology. While I was working for ShopClues, I started a blog on Tech niche website, and within a month this blog was receiving great responses from readers. 3 months shredded just to get Adsense approval don’t but that was an awesome moment of 1st success as well.
After two months, on December 1st 2008, I turned my blog into a self-hosted WordPress. I borrowed money and credit cards from my friends and purchased a lot of domains to work upon. It was a magical day. And that’s how my different websites went online. The funny thing is, initially I had no idea that one can earn from a blog apart Adsense.
Medium: Well, that’s interesting! How did you earn your first income online?
Mayank: You know, earning money online always sounded like a scam to me. Before I started earning, I thought all online money making schemes were flawed. Then I started learning about more on e-commerce strategies ( blogs as well ). Although joining Shopclues wasn’t my Goal but from there only my E-Commerce world interest started growing.
Later on along with my friend, we worked on many websites, made LIVE then finally started earning. It was never easy as it seems.
Medium: When did you decide to turn from hobby blogger to an
e-commerce marketer?
Mayank: Well somehow from our good links we made the company semi-registered in United States then finally made it completely approved by Officials. There comes a time when no one stands with you thinking your dream a joke, therefore self-funded from many sources and made my #1 Shopify website live. Invested almost 3 Years and finally from all that experience, me and my team are now planning & working on giving services to people creatively.
Medium: Your Hobbies?
Mayank: Reading, Spending more time in Creating new things Online & Traveling for sure.
Medium: What’s hot on Marketing Blox?
Well, Services like Android App development, Iphone Application CoX Development, Social Media Marketing, Professional Online Branding, Web oX Development are on Top hit list.
Medium: What are your future plans?
Currently, I am focusing 85% on Marketing Blox and thinking to make it live for another 5 Years. Apart this working on another Social Semi Networking site but that’s something you need to ask here itself after I make that live.

Medium: What advice do you have for people who want to start and want to be into Entrepreneurship ?
Just don’t give up and focus. Life gonna put you down 100 times. You just need to figure 1000 ideas to get back up.
